Acacia honey, which comes from blossoms of the Acacia tree (Robinia Pseudoacacia, also known as Black Locust), has a mild, sweet flavour, and is one of the most widely used and loved kind of honey in Italy.

Azienda Agricola Festinalente (Festinalente Farm) practices Nomadic Beekeeping, with Organic Farming U.E. Certification, in the ‘Grigna Settentrionale Regional Park’, near Lecco, where the mountains of the Como Lake make a beautiful background for the work of the bees.
It is a small, excellent reality, several times award winning at the the ‘Grandi mieli d’Italia’ (‘Great Italian honey’) contest – the contest, organized by the National Observatory on Honey, is the most qualified and most prestigious competition on the quality of Italian honey -.

Award winning at the ‘Grandi Mieli d’Italia’ contest with two Gold Drops in 2009 and 2013, Festinalente Acacia Honey is ideal for mixing with beverages like tea, milk or herbal infusions because it sweetens without changing the taste of the drink. It makes a tasty combination also with yoghurt.

Festinalente honey is raw: any form of heating is avoided to ensure all the natural nutritional elements are preserved. Because of this, it may naturally crystallize.
